AZ Ironman bike handling

Sun, November 19, 20177:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Volunteer with us at the AZ Ironman Triathlon!  Athletes swim 2.4 miles in Tempe Town Lake, then bike 112 miles and run a marathon 26.2 miles.

BIKE HANDLING: John & Debbie Foster lead the bike handling area of the race, inside the transition area. Bike handling is a fast paced volunteer job!  The morning shift helps them get their bikes after the swim and the afternoon shifts re-rack over 2,000 athlete bikes after the 112 mile ride.

Sign up on the AZ Ironman volunteer site for this job. Choose: bike handlers and then select the shift(s) you want to work. Bike handlers volunteer on race day, Sunday, November 19th. Shifts vary throughout the day from 7am-6pm.

If you have already signed up to bike handle with us, you'll find important information here.
